David is an investment specialist for the Monthly Income Strategy within the clients department and also chairs the Monthly Income Product Group. David joined Baillie Gifford in 2022 with responsibility for UK Adviser relationships. Prior to this, David was an Investment Director at Investec in Edinburgh and the Channel Islands, where he spent twelve years managing multi-asset portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts and advisers. David graduated MA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Aberdeen, and then PG Dip in Journalism at Edinburgh Napier University. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Lawrence has been a member of the International Growth Portfolio Construction Group since 2012. Lawrence is co-manager of the International Concentrated Growth and Global Outliers strategies. He joined Baillie Gifford in 2009 and became a partner in 2020. He has been deputy manager of Scottish Mortgage since 2021. He has also worked in the Emerging Markets and UK Equity teams. Lawrence graduated BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge in 2009.

Praveen is an investment manager in the Japanese Equities Team. He is the manager of the Japanese Smaller Companies Strategy, the Shin Nippon Investment Trust, and deputy manager of the Baillie Gifford Japan Trust. He is also a founding member of the International Smaller Companies Strategy. He joined Baillie Gifford in 2008 and previously worked for FKI Logistex. Praveen graduated B.Eng in Computer Science from Bangalore University in 2001, and completed an MBA from the University of Cambridge in 2008.
