Cherry Reynard
Financial JournalistCherry has over 20 years’ experience working for a range of national, consumer and trade titles including The Times, Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, Interactive Investor, Forbes and Investors Chronicle. She has co-authored a book on investing in emerging markets and is a six-time winner of the Investment Management Association’s Freelance Journalist of the Year award and eight-time winner of the AIC Freelance Journalist of The Year award. She began her career as a tax accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, before moving to investment bank J.P. Morgan.
Megan Rooney
Intermediary Client ManagerMegan is a client manager in the UK Intermediaries Team. She joined Baillie Gifford in 2016. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Megan worked at Barclays, specialising in private client services. She graduated BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Glasgow in 2014.
David Rolland
Intermediary Client ManagerDavid joined Baillie Gifford in 2022 with responsibility for intermediary client relationships (specifically UK advisers) in the UK. He spent 12 years working on the ‘buy side’, joining Williams De Broë in 2010, which became Investec in 2012. David began his career as a portfolio manager, then as a discretionary fund manager for the next eight years (four of which were spent in the Channel Islands). David graduated from the University of Aberdeen, before completing a postgraduate degree at Edinburgh Napier University. He is a chartered wealth manager and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
